Hello to Barjo, our new mobile workshop on the water ;) After taking the boat on land to clean and fix the underwater aluminium body, we travelled to Berlin and started with the next steps of the project...We built a wooden structure that allowed us to install solar panels on the roof and get autarky in electricity ;) And supposing one day we build a proper room on the back, the wooden structure is also a try for a shape aesthetically adapted to the ship.
IIn the wintertime 2023, we extended the boat with 3 meters aluminium terrasse.
We are super happy to host the first concerts happening on board for the "Rummel auf der Bucht" 2023 organized with Spree:publik. All the energy deserving the concerts was provided from the new solar panels.

Barjo // Berlin, Germany, project 2022-25
The name of this construction is due to its shape which looks like a shell. This multifunctional little house can be used as a workshop, a guesthouse, a bathroom and even a sauna ;) The windows are recycled from an old berliner staircase and give from now a beautiful view into the forest and on the heals. The walls are built with a wooden structure and filled with local cley which has been taking out to create a flat base for the Concha.

The café8eck is a cute multifunctional little kiosk in octagon which will be used as a café, a workshop and even a sauna in the wintertime... The construction can be unmounted in 16 frames which can be moved and and set up in another place. We will install it in Spring 2024 on the big ship Hanseat in the historischer hafen Berlin Mitte.

The free harbour is becoming truth for one day in the Rummelsburgerbucht. The association Spree:publik organized this special day for the neighborhood with live music, shows, worshops, exhibition and an amazing kidspace on the pirate boat Anarche. It was a pleasure to sustain with graphic design, organization of the event and constructions to help the visitors to go up to the boats above the barrier from the shore.
